Senior Director, Global Program Lead.
Major tasks and responsibilities include:
- Lead cross-functional Program Teams to develop and drive an integrated program strategy, ensuring strategic alignment and seamless execution while modeling leadership, accountability, and collaboration behaviors.
- Anticipate internal and external drivers of change in the program strategy and make well-reasoned revisions to minimize risk and maximize opportunity.
- Generate high-quality communication of program needs and recommendations to executive management to enable informed decision-making.
- Identify and lead academic and industry partnerships or business opportunities, working with appropriate functions to ensure effective execution.
- Define publication strategy and ensure effective internal and external communication aligned with corporate policy.
- Embody the company’s values, acting with empathy and humility to promote a culture of ownership and accountability for individual and team performance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- A PhD, MD, PharmD, or an advanced degree in biomedical sciences or a related drug development discipline is required.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research organizations, with a proven track record in leading drug development programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in multiple areas of drug development and/or broad knowledge spanning research, pre-clinical development, process development, manufacturing, clinical trials, and regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge in the oncology area is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and influence data-driven strategy, planning, and implementation.
- Extensive experience in building collaborative teams through coaching, empowerment, and fostering a learning culture, with demonstrated success in influencing and collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors in a remote hybrid environment.
- Ability to assimilate data, identify key variables, and analyze complex situations to exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight stays, driven by business needs.
- This position requires the ability to work East Coast hours.
